What's with the offensive words in Muddled 1.0.0?

We used an open source dictionary to build the game boards. Our intent was to filter out all offensive words, but unfortunately, we missed a couple. We have already submitted a 1.0.1 update to Apple which removes these words. This update should be available soon. We're very sorry if you ran across these in the initial release.

Do I have to drag the letter tiles into place?

No, you can just tap a letter tile, and it will move onto the end of the word you are building.

If a word isn't accepted, do I have to drag all the letters back out of the word to start over?

Just tap the X next to the rejected word to return all tiles back to their original positions.

Why are the tiles stacked in two rows?

This layout best fits the screen when in portrait mode. To play with the tiles all in a single line, rotate the phone sideways to play in landscape mode.
